Intimacy with the Mystery

The brokenness of our lives becomes the beat and backdrop for a Song to emerge, which overshadows everything else. For there’s a broken record spinning around the throne of God. It’s stuck on one verse and one theme in the midst of a revolving circle of praise that pours out of the hearts of elders and saints and angels. That record is the broken body of the Lamb, which releases the Song of heaven and heals the brokenness of the universe. More than a Gospel of prosperity or a Gospel of suffering, we are called to tune into a Gospel of Union, which transcends everything we thought we knew.
