Reservoir is not an Almond Branch Church ministry. It is a multi-church gathering of Christian young people from all denominations and backgrounds meeting together to discover one central truth - Jesus is the Living Reservoir by which we all receive Truth and Life.

Jesus knew we would have different beliefs. And He also knew that we could be ONE as He and the Father are one! (John 17:21).

So as for teachings practically, we hit on the majors, and sidestep some of the minor differences we have in belief.

That being said, there are majors. They are here, if you're interested!

More Information

Reservoir has two main "channels" by which it functions:

1) Large "Reservoir" gatherings the first Sunday of every month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
2) Two small groups every month.

The large gathering brings everyone together, and the small groups are where the multiplication and discipleship happens. Groups are typically formed around shared interests (i.e. fishing, baking, basketball) and have times set aside for
1) activities,
2) communion,
3) teaching, and
4) prayer.

Finer details of the small groups are of course open to the group leaders discretion. Small groups are simply organic relationship-centered opportunities for connection and teaching.

As for the Almond Branch, we have small groups for all ages, but as for if/how you implement small groups for your church, we leave that up to you! We did want to mention though that we do have small group curriculum, if you would like that, reach out to waylon@awakenj.com.

" The Majors "

The Apostle's Creed describes what we refer to as "the majors". If your church disagrees with most of this, this program may not be the best fit for your church to partner with, as this is the essential worldview by which we would be teaching, worshiping, etc!

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
